8 Twelve is the second solo project of Drich, French artist and member of Grand Soleil.

His name is a reference to the supermarket « 7 Eleven » that you can find all over the world.

Unfortunately, due to his flying phobia, he cannot travel. But his ultimate dream is to go to Japan, and more specifically to Tokyo. So he watches YouTube videos to discover the city, and he often sees « 7 Eleven » there.

For him, these small stores have become a symbol of his dream. Each track represents a mood and a setting, as if he was there.

The album « In my Ears » is like an immersive experience of some character’s day, walking around Japan in the summer. With a variety of moods and sounds that reflect the different stages in a day.
