BEN is the result of a spontaneous jam session between Fakear, OOGO (Le Fine Équipe), AkselAksel and Laanky, four members of the Nowadays Records label. Inspired by the UK scene, the track throws down a big 138 BPM future house rhythm, saturated and dissonant bass, all counterbalanced by an almost cheesy R&B voice, singing a love ballad. The name BEN ? An absurd wink slipped into the lyrics, as if this lambda character were unwillingly becoming the track’s sentimental alter ego.
