Written after a breakup, Write About You explores feelings of solitude and nostalgia. Inspired by Lebanese music videos from the early 2000s, slightly kitschy yet deeply sincere in their emotion, Céline sings bare-voiced what she could no longer share. For the instrumental, the idea was to draw from early-2000s house music, particularly the French scene: dreamy vocals, organ and piano, creating a track that is both danceable and melancholic, but above all meant to bring people together.
Revolution is an anthem of rebellion and hope, driven by the fight against injustice and the spirit of solidarity with the oppressed. It calls on people to rise up, to resist, and to confront tyrants with courage, while celebrating the unity and determination that can transform the world. The lyrics form a poetic and activist appeal to never give up in the face of challenges, to walk together toward a better future.
You may know Fakear as a composer, producer, and performer, but you might have missed one of his other talents: DJing. 22 minutes of finely tuned, raw mixing, punctuated by his friends’ voices, sharing live reactions to each track. Nowadays Records continues to chart its course with the release of Club Nowadays Vol. 6, a new opus in its series of compilations, which fully embodies its vision of club music. This sixth volume brings together emblematic figures of the label and emerging artists around the following dance productions: Mira Ló, Yambow, R1D1, Laaanky and OOGO & Blanka.

An initiative of Nowadays Records and DJ/producer KasbaH, joined by Bab, the Musique de Fëte collective celebrates an electronic scene inspired by the sounds of the Maghreb and the Middle East. Through a series of V/A and parties organized in Europe and the Maghreb, the key words are: Party, Dance, Conviviality, Sharing and Celebration.
